Tips to Running a Great Tour

Submitted by John Morgan Touring is always a great way to enjoy your Model A and we have multiple tours during the year that are run by both old and new members. As a long time tour organizer and participant, a tour will run more smoothly and SAFELY if some easy tips are followed: The Leader (meet-head) provides readable directions. May 2026 President’s Message

Well, spring is finally here! The roads are salt free and the temperatures are climbing. We just had another successful garage clinic at Ed’s garage. Now that we all have our cars ready it’s time to start driving and touring. The first tour is the poker run on April 19th. It’s being run by John and Rita Morgan. Spring Garage Clinic

The garage clinic on March 28 was well attended with more than 15 members and guests. We attended to 3 model A’s with two brake jobs and one exhaust manifold. The first brake job on a Cabriolet was fairly straight forward job for John Hunter , a simple adjustment on the rods. The second was a fordor sedan; this job started with removing the rear drum to find that a spring had broken and a few of the lugs had…
