The venue offered a grassy field for the games and a nice tree for shade. Four drivers participated in each of the six games. Well summer is pretty much behind us the weather should be cooler perfect for getting those A’s out. We just had the club picnic earlier this month with a modest turn out my thanks to the Bettle’s for their hospitality. There are few events this month hopefully there is something for everyone to enjoy. Also a reminder that October’s meeting is the 12th a week later because of Hershey’s AACA meet. On a beautiful day in July, we gathered at the Airport Diner in Sussex around noon, then made the short drive to our assigned spot in the lineup. The hour-long wait in the hot sun wasn’t ideal.
