Well summer is pretty much behind us the weather should be cooler perfect for getting those A’s out. We just had the club picnic earlier this month with a modest turn out my thanks to the Bettle’s for their hospitality. There are few events this month hopefully there is something for everyone to enjoy. Also a reminder that October’s meeting is the 12th a week later because of Hershey’s AACA meet. Six Model A’s turned out for the Sussex-Wantage 250th Anniversary Parade on July 18th, helping celebrate the nation’s semiquincentennial. On a beautiful day in July, we gathered at the Airport Diner in Sussex around noon, then made the short drive to our assigned spot in the lineup. The hour-long wait in the hot sun wasn’t ideal.
