Trexlertown Tour
By: Jeff Vanderhoff
It was a nice sunny day when six Model A’s took off for the Trexlertown meet. The tour out to Trexlertown was about 66 miles from our starting point. Six Model A drivers and six passengers were in attendance including Brian and RonDee Lockwood who took the tour with us.When we arrived at the meet, we were treated to look at about 80 Model A’s and a swap meet of all kinds of parts for our vehicles.
There was a carburetor seminar which some of us attended. A little extra knowledge is always a good thing. We left the meet and drove to Buck Hill Brewery. As we drove, we passed through some mustard fields. The yellow flowers with the sun on them was a sight to see. Thank you Rita and Jan for letting us know what exactly was growing in the fields.
Oh yea, and what tour would be complete without an ice cream stop. Can’t wait until next year. See you all again for another wonderful time!!
