Drive your car! Drive your car! How many times have you heard that phrase? We have several members in our club that drive their Model A’s often. The miles for the mileage program were tallied and some of our members were recognized for driving their cars. There were awards given out for a total of over ninety thousand miles. One member, not in the mileage program, has seventy five thousand miles on one engine. Congratulations to all who received awards!! I would also like to recognize Dominick Leblond for receiving the Model A Youth Restoration Award. (MAYRA) This is a national award from MARC and MAFCA. He will receive gift certificates and he has to track and report the progress of his restoration on his 1930 Town Sedan. I can’t wait to see the finished product. I am sure if he needs any help he knows a lot of people who will help him on his restoration. Good Luck Dominick. This just goes to show you that you are never too old or young enough to enjoy a Model A!
