I would like to acknowledge everyone who had made a donation to MAYRA – Model A Youth Restoration Award – at our last meeting. Our club members were very generous and the MAYRA scholarship must be successful so our hobby can stay strong for years to come. These young people are our future Model A club members. Thank you to all involved. The fire truck is coming along. Most of the sheet-metal is mounted and is starting to look like a vehicle again, instead of a pile of parts. It will be nice to see our restored fire truck go down the road again. Our tours have started, so join in. The people that plan the activities of a tour put a lot of time and effort into the days event. So let’s get out, drive our cars, and enjoy the company of our fellow club members.
