It was a beautiful fall day for our fall foliage tour. We had 10 Model A’s and drove for 70 miles. We stopped half way at Anderson Farms in Sparta for some fall goodies and of course ice cream. We drove around a lake which had a very narrow road and many back roads in Passaic and Sussex County. The leaves were just perfect!!

After the tour, everyone came back to our house for an “Oktoberfest.” We had homemade spatzel and red cabbage with assorted wursts. Of course we had German music playing and beer. To finish off the day, we had homemade German apple cake and pumpkin cookies. It was a perfect day.
