Winter Carnival

There isn’t much that can be said about this event that hasn’t already been said. The weather was spectacular considering 24 hours earlier it was snowing. The fire was almost smokeless and a pleasure to watch. The selection of firearms available for our shooting pleasure was more than adequate and the food was not only plentiful but delicious. The cabin in the woods was again the perfect place for us to gather and enjoy the great outdoors with all of…

2024 Denville Holiday Parade

A great time was had by all who participated in the Denville Holiday parade on Saturday, Nov. 30th. Ten members came out for lunch that was put together by Tina with the help of some of the other ladies who brought delicious salads and of course Nicky brought dessert. Matt Petitjean and Dave Andreasen were followed all the way from Florham Park to my house by a young man in his own car. Upon their arrival at my house he…

Stuff The Bus

Mother nature can be very deceiving at times. One day before our food drive, she dropped 9” of snow in the Sussex County area. Twenty miles south from my home, there was not a trace of snow. Although the rain and snow was much needed, it did not stop the 14 members from coming out and supporting our cause of donating food to the Wayne Interfaith Food Pantry. We also had members that did not come but still donated food.…

November2024 What a great time of the year. Crisp mornings and great touring weather are here, not to mention the Hershey fall meet also. It is great to see we have members that are vendors at the flea market. I ran into about 13 members of our club while at the Hershey fall meet in the flea market fields, well, not in the fields, but on the pavement. Do you remember all the mud? If you have never been to…

April 2024 The club was busy last month with the cabin fever tour being split up into three events. First we visited the Sansone’s Tree Farm. Tom and Chris were busy making maple syrup. Tom was cooking the sap as he collected it from the trees. He showed us all about how to make maple syrup and a tour of the farm. It is a true labor of love for the time it takes, but it sure does taste good.…

March President’s Report

Well, here we are in the worst part of winter. Don’t let the cold temperatures and dreary weather keep you on the couch, be-cause the touring season is not too far away. I am sure there is something you can do on your Model A. For instance, I am working on getting some distributors and water pumps rebuilt. This is something you can do wherever it is warm.
